Novia Lu swaps Praxis for Ocorian

Financial services provider Ocorian has named Novia Lu as business development director for APAC, following the company’s growth in the region.

Based in Hong Kong, Lu will be responsible for private and corporate clients in the region and will work with professional intermediaries including offshore law firms, insurance companies, tax advisory firms and banks.

Lu has almost 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, specialising in worldwide corporate structuring. She joins Ocorian from Guernsey-based firm Praxis, where she covered business development in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and mainland China.

Commenting on her appointment, Lu says: “I’m excited to be joining Ocorian, a provider with such a strong track record and reputation, and look forward to helping to continue its expansion and growth across the APAC region.”

Lynda O’Mahoney, global head of business development at Ocorian’s private client division adds: “We are looking to grow our market share in the APAC region and Lu brings a wealth of experience and local knowledge to the role to help expand our offering to new and existing private and corporate clients.”
